Overview

Scholarship Grants given by the College are presented below. In case the student qualifies for multiple scholarship/discounts, the largest percentage of scholarship applies. Multiple discounts are not cumulative.

Cheng Eng Teng (Founder’s Scholarship Grant)

A scholarship named after the Founder. This grant is extended to all deserving freshmen who pass the scholarship examination administered for the purpose and who have not enrolled in any other college.

Entrance Scholarship

Awardees of any public and private high schools recognized by Department of Education are entitled to this type of scholarship. The student needs to present both the original and photocopy of the certificate issued by the School Principal where the student receives the award.

Academic Scholarship

A regular student may qualify for Academic Scholarship for the succeeding semester if he/she satisfies the following criteria based on his/her grades from the previous semester.

Varsity Scholarship

Varsity team players are granted scholarships upon the recommendation of the PE Department Chair to the OIC of Student Affairs who will determine the scholarship percentage based on performance and seniority.

Publication Scholarship

Students who qualify as staff of The Sphere, the Official Student Publication of SPCBA, are entitled to a corresponding amount of tuition discounts.

Student Assistantship Program

Financially-challenged but academically deserving student is granted privilege set by the College in return for his/her service as a student assistant.
